Fast Friday - Week 9

The theme over at Less is More this week is - three. So here is this week's card.

As this year's Sale-a-Bration finishes on Monday (31 March) I thought I would use some of the last pieces of my favourite paper from the Sweet Sorbet DSP - you can see I've not got much left but I was determined to use every little piece!

To make this project you will need:

Cardstock/Paper: Naturals White, Island Indigo, Basic Black, SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP  Stamps: Petite Petals, Lacy & Lovely (greeting)  Ink: Basic Grey, Silver Metallic Encore  Tools/Accessories: Petite Petals punch, basic rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals

You can order from my online shop 24/7 or if you prefer contact me directly. Don't forget you can choose a free product from the Sale-a-Bration promotion for every £45 (before P&P) that you spend on catalogue items until 31 March 2014.

A la prochaine! Amitiés!

Fast Friday - Week 8

I needed to make a card for a lovely customer this week who lives in Lancashire so rustled up this super quick card using one of my favourite stamp sets from the current Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue 2014 - So Very Grateful. I used one of the great notecards that SU sell (envelopes included) as my card base - just perfect for a quick project like this.  I used one of my favourite tools at the moment - the white chalk marker. Just love the effect this gives.

Incidentally, the layout is one you will see all over the internet on crafting blogs at the moment.

And here is a more stepped up version that I did with the more standard sized card for a friend's birthday. This time I used Crystal Effects on the flowers to give some added dimension as well as using one of the current hostess sets - Banner Greetings.

The actual making of this second card didn't take much longer, but drying time was needed for the Crystal Effects.

To make these projects you will need:

Cardstock/Paper: Old Olive, Notecards, Whisper White  Stamps: So Very Grateful, Banner Greetings (hostess)  Ink: Black Stazon  Tools/Accessories: White chalk marker, White gel pen, Basic pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals, Crystal Effects, Stamp-a-ma-jig, ruler

You can order from my online shop 24/7 or if you prefer contact me directly. Don't forget you can choose a free product from the Sale-a-Bration promotion for every £45 (before P&P) that you spend on catalogue items until 31 March 2014 - hurry that's only 11 days away!

Fast Friday - Week 7

This week I have something different to share with you - a cute little notebook that only took a few minutes to decorate. I have used my favourite paper from this year's SAB selection - just love the colourway of pool party with black as it is so modern and fresh. (Although I think you might have guessed this already as I have shown a few other projects in this colourway - LOL!)

I even decided to stamp inside the notebook:

And this is what the notebook looked like before I altered it. I got it from a store called Tiger when I was visiting Riga (Lativa) last September. Before you think that is a long way to go to buy a notebook I should point out that Tiger is in fact a Scandinavian company and they have a number of stores throughout Europe including the UK!

To make this project you will need:

Cardstock/Paper: Pool Party, SAB Sweet Sorbet  Stamps: Papillion Pot Pourri  Ink: Black Stazon  Tools/Accessories: Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, SAB Banner Punch, SAB Sweet Sorbet Accessory pack, Basic pearls

You can order from my online shop 24/7 or if you prefer contact me directly. Don't forget you can choose a free product from the Sale-a-Bration promotion for every £45 (before P&P) that you spend on catalogue items until 31 March 2014.

Fast Friday - Week 6

Sorry for the delay in posting this week's Fast Friday card. The inspiration this week has come from the latest Less is More challenge to use green and yellow as well as the CAS on Sunday challenge where you have to use markers.

As it will soon be Mother's Day in the UK (Sunday 30 March this year), I decided to add the lovely greeting from Delightful Dozen. Adding colour to crumb cake card can be difficult, so in order to get the colours to pop I first of all coloured the images in with the chalk marker, then coloured the images again with the markers I wanted to use. You do get a slightly mottled effect on the larger areas.  To get the different tones of yellow I coloured some parts of the flowers twice.

To make this project you will need:

Cardstock/Paper: Crumb Cake  Stamps: Vivid Vases, Delightful Dozen  Ink: Black Stazon, Crushed Curry marker, Always Artichoke marker, Pear Pizzazz marker, Old Olive marker  Tools/Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, White chalk marker, Basic pearls

You can order from my online shop 24/7 or if you prefer contact me directly. Don't forget you can choose a free product from the Sale-a-Bration promotion for every £45 (before P&P) that you spend on catalogue items until 31 March 2014.

A la prochaine! Amitiés!
